Wine: LAM Rose
The colour is a very delicate pink “onion skin” colour. The palate shows big, clean acid and hints of strawberries. The wine is meant to be fresh and it certainly is with an alcohol of only 11.5%. This wine should be taken seriously, but not too seriously! A perfect “sorbet” between courses, or even between wine tastings. But best drunk as an aperitif.

Wine: Saffronne Cinsaut
The 2012 Safronne Cinsault is made like a white wine. It has a lovely bouquet of light strawberry, raspberry sorbet and vanilla pod aromas that are well defined and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe, sweet entry but there is sufficient acidity to support is and an alluring viscosity to draw you on towards the finish. Excellent. Drink now. WA

Wine: Rose
More like Garnet than Rose it is a barrel fermented blend of Mourvedré, Shiraz and Trincadeira. Dusty ripe strawberries and attractive herbaceous character on the nose. Quite complex and intriguing earthiness. Soft attractive palate with lingering complexity. Again more of a light barrel matured red rather than a typical Rosé. May well improve, but as this is the second vintage, we have no track record and cannot recommend keeping for more than two or three years. Serve slightly chilled, but not too cold.
