R595

32 in stock

Notes

100% Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:
'Delicate strawberry nose – but the palate is much more assertive, with just-ripe redcurrant and cranberry fruit which has an authentic Pinot Noir style about it. Dry, creamy texture. Proper, valid rosé flavour – a step up from their previous vintages, with lovely red fruit juice throughout.' – Jancis Robinson 17/20

'Our Gusbourne Rosé combines delicate red fruit flavours with a depth and complexity from Pinot Noir. It is delicious now, but also ageworthy.' – Charlie Holland

Production:
Whole bunch pressed and naturally settled for 24-36 hours. 10 days under 20 degrees C using specialist sparkling wine yeast. Primary fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, with a small percentage of barrel-aged red wine blended before secondary fermentation. Bottled on 10th June 2014. Malolactic and a minimum of 22 months on the less.

Analysis:
Alc: 12% TA: 8.7g/l Dosage: 7.5g/l pH: 3.05
