Notes

Tasting notes:
'The 2013 Ernie Els Signature was aged for 22 months in new oak. Of all the recent releases, this sports the most attractive nose, bursting with black cherries, blueberry, star anise and a touch of white pepper. The palate is full-bodied with grippy black fruit, moderate acidity and thankfully not the same dryness that I discerned on some of Els’s other cuvées. Give this a couple of years in bottle.' – Neal Martin Report 2018, 90/100

'The best blocks and the best barrels” is how Louis Strydom describes the selection process for the top wine at the property. This is a complex, densely textured red, with stylish oak supported by perfumed dark fruit, hints of graphite, violet and capsicum and a very long finish. Classy stuff. Drink: 2017-25.' - Tim Atkin Special Report South Africa 2016
