R215

20 in stock

Notes

Vinification:
16 days skin ferment, Pressed to old French barrel with lees, 10 months maturation, Rough filtration.

Tasting notes:
'Everything that Craig Sheard does is designed to push boundaries. This is more ‘normal’ that some of his whites, but it’s still a graceful, elegant, focused Pinot Noir, showing ethereal aromas and flavours of red cherry, pot pourri and a hint of clove spice. Drink: 2018-22'. – Tim Atkin MW, 92/100

'Matured for 10 months in old oak. Cherry and wild strawberry plus hints of earth, pepper and spice on the nose. Medium bodied with moderate acidity and soft tannins – very flavoursome.’ – Christian Eedes, 89/100

'Red cherry and raspberry, a hint of fresh herbs and meat stock on the nose. Light-bodied with super-fresh acidity and a gently spicy quality to the finish'. – Wine Maker
