Notes

Brothers Jean-Luc and Jean-Paul Jamet have been running this domaine since the retirement of their father, Joseph, in 1986. The estate has expanded to cover 8.5 hectares of the 'roasted slope', spread over more than 20 separate plots. The range of terroirs offers a rich and varied palate from which to blend complex and special wine, year in, year out. Even in a poor year, Jamet's Cote Rotie is never 'green'. It is a hedonistic wine, a veritable explosion of intense, peppery black fruit, and quite simply delicious

The Cotes du Rhone heralds from young vineyards that are planted above Cote Rotie near the domaine. It is similar in style, but shows a softer structure and reaches maturity earlier. It is consistently one of Wine Cellar’s favourite wines!

In 2012 the brothers split and now produce their own cuvees.
