Annual 2012/2013 Cellaring Rates as of 01/03/2012
* R79 per case of 12 bottles or 6 Magnums ie R1.52 per week
* R45 per case of 6 bottles or 3 Magnums ie R0.86 per week
* R23 per Magnum ie R0.44 per week

Cellaring rates include.
* Storage and the withdrawal of FULL cases of the same wine type ONLY.
* Receiving, handling and documentation.
* Collection of initial storage within Cape Town. Subsequent collections and those outside Cape Town are charged at standard rates.
* Cataloguing and barcoding of full cases. Split or mixes case cataloguing will accrue a surcharge.
* Online viewing of your cellar at www.winecellar.co.za. Once wines have been received, a unique login and password will be given to each client.
* Insurance of R100 per 750ml bottle of wine for loss as a result of storm, wind, fire and water damage. Clients will have to use their own short term insurance to cover values over and above this.
Optional Extras
* Mixed cases can be documented and catalogued at a once off R5 per wine type. I.e. a mixed case of 12 wines will attract R60 extra per case.
* The withdrawal of single bottles are charged at a further R5 per case upon withdrawal
Conditions
* Cellaring is billed bi-annually in arrears in March and September, calculated on the weekly charge. Payment is required on invoice.
* We require 24 hours notice for the collection of your stock.
* Withdrawals can only be ordered via email to jannik@winecellar.co.za or be faxed to 086 631 7931.
* Withdrawals are only available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm only.
* Withdrawals can only be done by the client or an authorized 3rd party.
* Delivery must be made during office hours by the client or any 3rd party.
* Full payment is required on the withdrawal of all wines and on bi-annual invoices.
* Minimum cellaring period of 6 months per contract.
* Minimum cellaring quantitiy of 10 x 6 or 5 x 12 cases per contract. This can be waivered if the cellar is intended to reach the minimum cellaring quantitiy.
Cellar conditions
* Wines are stored in a clean, dark vibration free underground cellar. The temperature is controlled at 14 degrees Centigrade (55 and 59 Fahrenheit) at a humidity of 70%.
* Daily temperature is monitored and recorded.
* All cellar floors and clean and dry.
* The cellars are locked and protected with high security alarms and a closed-circuit television. Access is only permitted with a member of WINE CELLAR.
Location
* We are located off the N1, N2 and M4 in Observatory Cape Town. We are open Monday to Friday from 08h00 - 17h00.
* Special arrangement can be made to accommodate clients access to their wine at other times. (see contact details)
