4 in stock

Notes

97% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Semillon

Tasting notes:
'The 2017 Cape Town Sauvignon Blanc comes from the estate at Cape Point and another estate in Durbanville and was matured in stainless steel with three months’ lees contact. It has a fresh green apple and kiwi fruit bouquet. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry, displaying touches of kiwi fruit, Granny Smith apples and a little capsicum toward the bright finish. Very fine.' – Neal Martin Report 2018, 89/100

'W.O. Cape Town. 50% own grapes and 50% from Durbanville. Matured for three months on the lees in tank. A hint of reduction before lime, white peach and fynbos on the nose. The palate is relatively lean yet intensely flavoured with racy acidity and a salty finish.' – Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za, 90/100

'The wine shows a complex array of passion fruit and guava combined with citrus elements whilst remaining fresh and vibrant on the palate.' – Winemaker

Viticulture:
Grapes for this wine are picked from selected vineyard parcels in the picturesque Cape Town wine region. The grapes were harvested between 22°B and 23°B in the early hours of the morning and were all hand-picked.
