Last chance on 2015 Stellenbosch Cabernet & our new tasting line-up

Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon is an emerging category on the international wine scene as SA continues its fine wine revolution. While a few are already sold out, it’s worth reiterating. ‘In my 18 years at Tokara,’ said Miles Mossop before he left to focus on his own brand, ‘2015 is the best vintage I worked with’. Many of you have already gone deep into the 2015s, either through en-primeur or our investment portfolios. Here is your last chance to buy at opening prices.

Annual increases will start filtering through from March and, on average, you will be paying 8% more for top Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon. Some increases will be more dramatic however, in order to reposition themselves amongst their peers. Along with the Alto 2015, we are highlighting the 2015 Thelema Cabernet Sauvignon as serious value and a solid purchasing opportunity.

Thelema Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

The Thelema is ‘Médoc-like, according to Neal Martin, and shows its typically elegant, classical styling. Medium-bodied with cigar box and red fruits, it offers fine tannins and beautiful structure. It’s almost impossible to find a world-class Cabernet at this price, especially one that will age for a decade or more.
